Business License Online Renewal

Please go to Prime, Utilities, Web Features to set up email settings first.

Eligibility
Business Tax Certificates can now be renewed online. Renewal notices are mailed 30 days prior to the expiration of your tax certificate. If any of the information printed on the renewal notice is incorrect you must renew by mail or in person.

Business Tax Certificates are not transferable. If this business is under new ownership, this invoice will be inactivated. NEW OWNERS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT NEW APPLICATIONS IN PERSON.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 2024:

A service fee will be applied to each Credit/Debit, PayPal, Venmo and E-check transaction.

Online Payments:

* Service fee of 2.65% applied per Credit Card (Visa/MasterCard), Venmo & PayPal transaction.

* Service fee of $1.00 applied per E-Check transaction.

FREE Payment Options:

* Cash: Pay in person at Camarillo City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive

* Check or Money Order: Send via mail, Deliver in person, or Place in Drop Box at 601 Carmen Drive.

Process
Please allow up to 15 business days, after completing the online renewal process, to receive your new business tax certificate.

Account #		Enter your business tax certificate account #. This number can be found on your renewal form in the upper left corner.
